Alexis dreamed up GatheredFolk after years of juggling projects across notebooks, PDFs, screenshots, and half-finished ideas. She wanted one thoughtful place where knitters and crocheters could create, organize, and enjoy the process without hopping between countless apps. Every feature begins with a question she once asked herself while making.
Jake is the engineer behind the experience. He transformed that vision into GatheredFolk, thoughtfully building everything from the interactive stitch grid to Purl, our AI crafting companion.
